I have officially finished work for the Christmas and looking forward to spending some time doing absolutely nothing. Just catching up on chores, sleep and such like. Bliss, eh?

However, already today I have had to get my arse out of my comfy reclining leather sofa to answer the door, phone and door again. How rude! Ok the first door was a delivery, forgiven. The phone call (landline) was someone trying to sell Biker and I life insurance or medical insurance or something. I don’t know, they made no sense. The last front door caller was someone from the power company looking for the people we bought our house from over 18 months ago – then he tried to sell it to me. No thanks, quite happy so piss off!!!

Now comes the second part of this blog. Quite late on I decided that I wanted to buy Biker a Nintendo wii for Christmas. I haven’t pre-ordered and I am not going to queue up outside a shop at midnight so I’m a bit buggered really. Today, I called some local shops and one of them told me they were expecting a delivery in half an hour and there were some. They had six and were sold out in a blink of an eye as was another shop and the one after that! Wah! One of the shop assistants told me that they will probably get some more consoles in after Christmas, what is the point in that? Everyone wants to buy one for Christmas not after the bloody fact! Why don’t these games company make a few more before Christmas instead of disappointing countless people whose relatives could not get one of the coveted boxes?
